Mini Logo Bearings are a great starting point for any skateboard, longboard, complete, or beginner board. They are fast enough and durable enough for downhill and feature a metal shield on one side and a rubber shield on the other so you can still clean them. Worth a look!

not so well
The bearings of my pre-assembled, super cheap board were better...
Great under-appreciated bearings, especially for rainy climates.
Unlike Reds I only have good experiences with these. Reds sometimes seize up after riding on roads with the slightest bit of dry sand sometimes, but these are bulletproof. I know that most people say it is or should be the other way around, but after using a lot of sets of these bearings I say these rock.
Especially if you cruise a lot and you ride through the rain every now and then. As long as you just ride a mile within 12 hours after you drove through the rain the rust that is starting to form kind of grinds loose while riding. It'll still get slightly noisy after several rain sessions, but it doesn't feel rough, give you more resistance and they shouldn't seize up. I've only used these bearings over the last years.
By the way, I don't dismantle and clean, wash them in white-spirit or use speed cream.
