Dickies' iconic 874 work pants have been worn by workers since 1960 and are still the same as they were 60 years ago, but now in smaller sizes for kids.
What started as a reliable work pant in the 1960s quickly became a symbol of street-cool and resonated with two of the world's best cultural drivers: skating and music. Skaters loved the extremely durable quality and gave the pants a new look by wearing them in larger sizes and transforming the original high waist into a baggy fit. The 874 quickly emerged in the 1990s rap scene and was worn by some of the biggest artists in the world.
