The Hammond Ding Dong is an entry level longboard at a great price. The Ding Dong has a small nose and tail for freestyle, and offers a bit of flex and drop-thru mounting to be easier and more comfortable for pushing, cruising, and commuting.
Hammond Ding-Dong is a great hybrid longboard, it performs great in free style, carving, city cruising and also at any slope you may find.
It´s an amazing longboard to ride, with a bit of flex and the needed stiffness and resistance for any riders weight.39 inches provide the needed length in order to carve tight or smooth. 9 inches width and a soft concave make Hammond Ding-Dong comfortable for any feet size. 8 ply maple. Great board! Great service!
The shipping speed is simply ridiculous:
- ordered on Sunday evening
- was shipped at 18.00 from Rotterdam on Monday
- arrived in Minsk at 12.00 on Tuesday!
Less than 20 hours! I didn't even start to wait! Gosh, this is the best shipping experience I ever had.
About the board - its design is simply amazing. I was expecting some a little bit simpler but it's built very well, it has a little bit flex (not too much, maybe I'd want a little more), two kicktails are really helpful and the wheels are not too soft, you can slide with them, they good enough to eat up bad surface, they even does very well with tiles road, but if your city has a lot of big tiles on the sidewalk (like mine) it would be a good option to replace them with something softer if you are not going to slide.
Very recommended, quality/price ratio is best.

Hammond Ding-Dong Dropthrough complete
Based on an excellent feedback from Sickboards' Danny I bought this Complete board for my 7 year old active son with no experience at all. Danny suggested to loosen the trucks a bit before shipping. My son is enjoying his board on a daily basis now. His friends are amazed about what this board is capable of, they can not replicate the smoothness and easy going style as their toy store boards are nowhere near the performance of the Ding-Dong
This Hammond may not have the most sensational graphics on them, it sure is a very well built and easy to ride longboard. If you want to learn or have the need for a smaller all round board then this one is definitely worth looking into.
