The Obsidian is a great deck for racing and free riding. It has unique cut out corners on top of the deck that could be seen as sort of 'gas pedals'. The cut out corners give you great stability and the ability to push deeper into your carves. The wheel wells allow you to place big wheels and will still prevent wheel bite. The board is made out of Canadian maple and has a stiff flex. This board has great leverage because of its well though out design by team rider Kyle Martin.
