History

The company started in 1997 by professional skateboarder Chet Thomas. Originally Darkstar was created to produce a quality wheel that wouldn’t flat spot as easily. Over the years they evolved and started creating decks, with a focus on strong product, powerful graphics and quality.

Sustainability

Darkstar is a part of a sustainability program called “RegrowthSustainability Mission”. With this, they aim to reduce their carbon footprint through clean manufacturing, planting 3+ trees for each harvested and giving back to the community.
